Dinner (Again)

Subject: Dinner (Again) Tue Feb 23, 2010 5:02 pm

I walked into the mess hall, and got my food, and walked to the fire, and dumped some food into it. 'Hermes'. I say, and go sit down.

I walk in and sit down at the Hades table. I waited for the nymphs to serve me food. When they brought me food, I thanked them and they walked away smiling at me and waving. I ignored them, 'nymphs,' I thought. I picked up my food and carried it to the fire, "Hades," I said. I dumped some food in and walked back to my table. I ate some of my food and drank some water. I ate some more, then started gagging. I coughed and got my water. I drank it all and it got it out of my throat. I sighed, 'sometimes life can be so difficult,' I thought. I watched the water refill to the top magically. I ate some more food and finished. I lay my head down on the table, tired.

I looked at my empty glass, which was empty because I hadn't wanted any drink yet. "Purple Mountian Dew." I say, and purple Mountian Dew fills my glass. I drink slowly from it, watching the kid at the Hades' table. I didn't know why, but I didn't trust him.

I got my sword out of my pocket and looked at it. I needed something to do, I was bored. I tapped my sword on the ground and a few bones came up out of the ground. The bones made themself into a skeleton dog.
"Hey buddy, glad to see me again?" I asked.
He made a bark and wagged his tail, or skeleton bones.
I looked at him and decided something.
"I wonder if I can make skeleton dogs pets? I probably can," I guessed. I used a more complicated power on him and a little glow flashed around him. He barked as if thanking me. I smiled at him.

I raised an eyebrow in confusion. How did that skeleton dog appear? And where did that glowing light come from? I had so many questions, that I'd probably never ask.

'What do Skeleton dogs eat?,' I thought. How would I feed him? Well he's dead, so he probably doesn't need anything to eat.
"Come on boy, let's go for a walk." I said and took to dog to the beach.

I put down my drink, and eat my food, then began drinking my drink again. Once I was no longer thirsty, I got up, and left to my cabin.

I walked in sat down at the Hades table. I waited for the nymphs to come over and serve me food. They finally came over after 5 minutes and served me some food. I ate some of the food and drank some water, thirsty from killing dummies. I lied my head down on the table, tired.

I woke up from my short nap and ate some more food. I drank some water and left.

Alexia walks in and wonders what day it is. 'Seems like I've been sleeping for weeks. I wonder what happened while I was out. Who announced things? Who was in charge? This is such a big job.' she thought, taking her plate and dumping some food into the flames. "Demeter" she says and sits back down. As she ate, Alexia thought about Toby. She gasped. 'Toby went to the oracle, didn't he? I've got to find him.' Alexia thought, almost choking on the hot chocolate from her magical goblet as she gasped. Her thoughts raced until she was sure she'd gone crazy. 'Why have I been alseep for so long? Why didn't anyone wake me?' she thought, finishing off her plate and handing it to a saytr.

BIC:The nymphs served me food and I took the plate. I got up and went over to the fire. "Poseidon," I said and dumped some food into the fire. I walked back to the table and sat down.

WOOD NYMPHS CAME OVER WITH PLATTERS OF FOOD: grapes, apples, strawberries, cheese, fresh bread, and yes, barbecue!
