RP Example: Having lived in the darkness of the underworld until I was sixteen, I was excited to see everything my mother always bragged about from when she was away. She always went on about how exciting and beautiful the surface was. I stood at the exit to the underworld and braced myself. I had heard stories that it was a whole different world out there. As I opened the door I was surprised. The surface world was barren. There was this white stuff on the ground and I didn't see a single flower anywhere. I was angry and wanted to turn around and return to the underworld but I couldn't. I had a responsibility. I was Camp Half-Blood's new Sword master, and only at sixteen. That was two years ago. Now I'm eighteen and one of the most respected people at camp. And I love spring.
